Leadership

CBC is led by a diverse group of men and women who provide critical leadership in a variety of roles for our church family as we seek to make a difference in Northern Virginia and around the world for Jesus Christ.

We are elder-guided.  We have a body of elders that oversee the overall direction of the church.  Their job is to keep us pointed toward our mission, to keep us in line with God's Word, and to ensure that the church body is pastored and cared for.  The elders work with the pastors and staff to provide the broad direction forward into the future.  Meet the elders

We are staff-led.  CBC has church staff that takes the overall direction and boundaries set by the elders and turns that into specific plans of action.  The staff at CBC serve to recruit, train and equip our church body to make a difference in our world.

We are partner-driven.  At our core, we are driven by our church partners, those who share our vision and are committed to partner with us to make a difference in our church, in our community, and in our world.  CLICK HERE to learn how to partner with CBC to make a difference in our world.

First Steps Coach

Becca came to know Jesus as her Savior and was baptized as a young child growing up in Kansas. She enjoyed serving with her family in ministry throughout her childhood.  As an adult, she served as the Director of Volunteer Services in the Topeka Rescue Mission in Topeka, KS. Becca came to Centreville when she married Mark in 2005. Their family expanded in 2012 with the birth of Jake, who has captured her heart. She truly believes that becoming part of a community group early in their marriage has greatly impacted their lives, helping them grow together as their family grew.

Becca is passionate about people connecting at CBC. From 2005 until now, she has served on the staff of CBC supporting the Education, Benevolence, Volunteer Services and Outreach Ministries.  She has a deep desire for others to experience the love and grace of Jesus Christ. She loves helping the church family to recognize the gifts, talents and experiences that God has given to them, and then how to use them to serve God.
