We are excited to see you again for in-person worship!
The guidelines below are povided to help keep everyone safe.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday!

How safe will it be? Here is what CBC is doing to help you be safe as you return to in-person worship.

  • Restrooms have been retrofitted to be completely touch-less
  • The church app provides updates that would have previously been in the bulletin.  You can stay up to date through weekly emails, social media and the website
  • Doors will be propped open and greeters will wave from a distance (smiling under their masks!)
  • Every other row of seats in the Worship Center will be roped off and at least four seats will be between you and other non-related people
  • Mask are mandatory so everyone will be wearing masks to minimize risk of the virus spreading
  • Everyone will be encouraged to use hand sanitizer upon entering the building
Because we are trying to offer the safest environment possible, the following guidelines need to be followed if you would like to attend in person. These guidelines are in place because we care about you, our church family, and our community, and we want to be as safe as possible. We will continue to prioritize worshiping together online so if you are not comfortable with the guidelines or with being at an in-person gathering, we look forward to engaging with you online.

We will have limited capacity of 200 people (including worship team, First Impressions Team, staff)  in the Worship Center (80 people in the Student Center for the Hymn Service) to ensure distancing and provide the safest possible environment. Our First Impression Team team will be seating you as you enter the Worship Center  or Student Center leaving every other row empty and plenty of room between you and others.

Following are the guidelines to consider prior to registering to attend  the in-person services.
  1. All are welcome, however, If you are in a vulnerable category for age or health, we encourage you to continue to worship online rather than in person in this stage of regathering.
  2. Please stay home for worship rather than attending in person if you are showing any symptoms of the Covid-19 virus (fever, cough, etc) or if you believe you may have been exposed to the virus in the last 14 days.
  3. Please maintain at least a 6 ft distance from all non-family and that means waving from a distance is the best way to say "hi".
  4. Masks are required in the building so we can ensure we are doing everything possible to minimize risk to others. If you are not able to, or comfortable wearing a mask please continue to join us for worship at home until it's safe to attend worship in person without a mask.  We encourage children above the age of 3 to wear masks if possible for their safety and the safety of others.

How can we help?

If you have a prayer request, or a need that we might be able to help you with, please email cbc@cbcva.org and someone will reach out to you as soon as possible.
