English for Speakers of Other Languages - ESOL

CBC's ESOL ministry focuses on conversational English and seeks to help students improve their English proficiency, while better understanding American culture.  We have multiple levels of classes to meet students' various levels of proficiency studying English.  We offer classes on Wednesday evenings and Thursday mornings.

ESOL Classes will resume on campus in the Fall of 2021 

Beginner and Intermediate
Wednesday Evenings 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Beginner Class I only

Thursday Mornings 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Join us at anytime and meet students from all over the world!

Wednesday
Beginner Class

English Beginner class covers simple vocabulary, grammar,  and English sentences.  We also practice English conversation scenarios between students and teachers. 

Wednesday Intermediate Class

ESOL Intermediate Class is for students who already know basic English vocabulary and are able to speak in sentences. The class also studies English grammar in depth.

Wednesday
Advanced Class

ESOL Advanced Class is for students who want to practice English conversations and advanced grammar. The class is smaller but moves at a faster pace.

Thursday
Class

Thursday Morning class is offered to students who prefer to study in the morning. Classes are divided into beginner 1 and beginner 2 levels to accommodate each student's English level.
